Ironically a bit thankful to Microsoft for her recent efforts :p Yahoo is now further opening her searching API for developers, allowing everyone to utilize the entire Yahoo search index and customize the result display.

We do not know to what extend can we manipulate the logic, but it is one step further for an in-depth understanding of the Yahoo algorithm. Instead of doing the normal site customization, link building and baiting, we can consider to do it in the programming level. For now, all we need to do is to apply for a BOSS account and get the application id.
